The www.london.gov.uk site has undergone an audit by the Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB) and has been awarded the See it Right logo. The See it Right standard is based on the Website Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines, published in 1999 by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The See it Right checkpoints set a standard of accessibility exceeding WAI single 'A' and close to WAI 'AA'. Award of the See it Right logo represents a website's commitment to best practice website accessibility.Access Keys

Accessing downloadable documents
Wherever possible, downloadable documents are made available in two file formats - Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) and Rich Text Format (RTF).To view PDF files you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer. This software is available free of charge from the Adobe website. Users with visual impairments who make use of text to speech software may encounter problems when using PDF files. The access.adobe.com website provides tools and information to help make Adobe PDF files accessible to users with visual disabilities.
Wherever possible, we provide RTF files as an alternative to PDFs. RTF files are readable with current most word-processors. Please note that the RTF files may not maintain the original formatting and layout of document and that images - pictures, maps, graphs, logos - are removed. RTF files may be larger than PDFs and therefore slower to download.
